What about lingerie?

I was having a discussion with my boyfriend regarding women lingerie, as i have always (secretly) wondered what men actually think. I mean, hookin gup with a new guy, always thinking baout what to wear underneath, trying to match (which was a real hassle when i was a student, as i didn’t have money enough, so i just went for BLACK:…), trying to never wear the same set, trying to be sexy, but not too kinky… and then, the deeper you get into the relationship, the more often those oh-so-comfy boxer-panties get used, yes, even in front of him ;)
Well, I used to think that all men prefer sexy lingerie (in Victoria’s secret – definition…), meaning a lot of laces, silk and deep colors… and of course the bra should be push-up and the panty a thong! Well, my experience has thaught me that this is not always the case, I would even go so far as saying that this is usually NOT the case…

From what i have heard from men, most of them strangely seem to have something for just “clean” lingerie, meaning a nice white or black bra with matching panties; most of them don’t even think thong is a MUST (but that depends on the clothes one is wearing, from what they tell me…). My boyfriend even tells me he thinks most of these, so “super-sexy-considered” lingerie really turn him OFF, as they “look good on models, but not on the normal girl… “… hmmm, this is confusing.

Personally i prefer simple, like black, white or other color underwear, but without all those laces and jewellery attached. I mean, a nice set which is a bit more “spicy” could of course be cool once in a while, especially if me and my BF have one of those “wild night out”… but let’s face it, if I would wear them everyday, there wouldn’t be anything special about it (and YES, he agrees to this statement).

I do know that this perception differs with culture, and i have also had boyfriends who are totally into luxorious lingerie, and as “advanced” as it can get (and preferably RED)… but for the mainstream, in my case Western-European, man … simple is the keyword.

Hint… try a pair of white cotton panties with matching white bra (no, Push-up is not overdoing it…) under a pair of nice jeans and tight white t-shirt…. my man loves it!!!!
